Shijo is the founder of HostBetter. A mechanical engineer by training, he applies that same discipline to hospitality, building the systems that make a family's stay feel effortless. A traveller who has always preferred to live like a local, he started HostBetter on a simple belief: family time is rare and precious, and a family trip should be the part of the year you remember most.
Mayank brings a career built on capital accountability and long-term decision-making, with international clients and cross-border portfolios across UAE real estate. His investment discipline was shaped through his family's export business, established in 1982, where working with global partners taught him that structure, governance, and trust matter more than promises. That same rigour now informs how HostBetter is built and run.
